Workshops

We design and facilitate workshops that help people and organisations think differently about waste, resources, and regeneration.

  • Tailored workshops on circularity and regeneration – We help businesses and organisations explore what circularity means for them, from rethinking materials and processes to reimagining value creation.

  • Facilitation and engagement – We can design and run sessions that connect stakeholders, surface insights, and turn ideas into action.

  • Community conversations – We also host our own workshops on themes we care about — like the future of food, repair culture, and what it means to build a regenerative local economy.

Future of Repair, April 2025

In April, Loop It Local hosted The Future of Repair — a collaborative workshop bringing together local stakeholders from across Surrey’s repair ecosystem. Our independent research covered consumer groups, repair cafes, and repair businesses and our event bought together local government, waste partners and community organisations. Together, we mapped the current landscape of repair across the county, identifying strengths, gaps, and opportunities for collaboration. Building on this, participants co-created a “future map” for a more connected, visible, and accessible repair network across Surrey.

What began as an exploration of local repair initiatives evolved into a bigger idea: Circular Surrey Week — a concept designed to raise public awareness, celebrate local circular businesses, and engage consumers in the repair movement. By turning the challenge of low consumer awareness into a creative opportunity, the event sparked new partnerships and momentum for a more circular Surrey.
